Graduation assignment: A business plan for a Shared Services Organization

Fekoskan has set up a Shared Services Organization (SSO). The SSO focuses on services and support to the cooperatives and to Fekoskan itself. The tasks are of a supporting, executive, administrative and development nature.

The basic idea behind the formation of the SSO is that it is much more efficient and effective for the cooperatives to organize corresponding services jointly than to have each cooperative do this separately. This also benefits the cooperative ecosystem approach.

The aim of the internship is the identification, development, justification and presentation of a business concept into a completed business plan. The output from this project will be a thesis that includes all the data and narrative that would support a business plan suitable for the shared services organization. Therefore, the business plan should be a plan in the form of a mission statement, marketing plan, management team and roles, financial data and budget forecast, legal and other requirements, the role of other key stakeholders in the proposal and an implementation plan. It should also thoroughly discuss the feasibility of the concept.

Internship fee: ANG 500,- p/m

• Knowledge of business-orientated market research
