Graduation assignment: A business plan for an Education & Training Center

Fekoskan provides education and training for its affiliates, their members, their elected representatives, their managers and their employees, so that they can contribute effectively to the development of their cooperatives. Fekoskan also informs the wider public – especially young people and opinion makers – about the nature and benefits of cooperatives. This, among other things, through its business unit the Curacao Cooperative Academy Foundation (CCA).

The aim of the internship is the re-identification, re-development, re-justification and presentation of a renewed business concept into a completed business plan. The output from this project will be a thesis that includes all the data and narrative that would support a business plan suitable for the Curacao Cooperative Academy Foundation. Therefore, the business plan should be a plan in the form of a mission statement, marketing plan, management team and roles, financial data and budget forecast, legal and other requirements, the role of other key stakeholders in the proposal and an implementation plan. It should also thoroughly discuss the feasibility of the concept.

Internship fee: ANG 500,- p/m

• Knowledge of training & education processes
• Knowledge of strategic business planning
• Knowledge of research methods and techniques
• Knowledge of business-orientated market research
